What a way to start a breeding season, and a new year! These are my first hatchlings of 2007, and my first Urban Gecko Snow baby :)

I got one snow and one normal, both are het Bell Albino. The Snow looks a lot like a Mack Snow, I am hoping to get at least one female this year to breed to my Male Mack Super Snow to see what happens. I got 4 eggs from my Female Urban Snow so far and have them all incubating for male, keep your fingers crossed that I get more eggs to incubate for female.

Okay -- so maybe I'm a little naive.. An Urban Snow is...? Lol

Urban Snows and Gem Snows are line bred snows. Kelli and others have paired the line bred snows with Macks and have gotten SS. However no one has come forward breeding line bred x line bred and gotten SS. So it seems the line breds can produces SS but only when a Mack is added to the mix.

Congrats, Jeanne!! :) He and his clutchmate are adorable!!

I think Urban gecko has always claimed it to be a dominant trait. Here is a link to a page that talks a little about it.

Has anybody bred a Mack Snow to Craig's line of snows?
