Flex Tape Done Right

I just have to say that I ordered heat tape from www.reptilebasics.com and the tape came pre-wired in a professional form. It arrived quick and I am so happy. I suggest getting it from these guys (or gals) cause it seems to be safe (to me). You also need to run the tape at max for a few hours to break it in. The herpstat works great too. I thought I would post this cause I had to search forever to find this info.

Nope they just asked how I wanted it done and crimped it for free.

ya, i agree. i've bought all my flexwatt from rich at reptilebasics and had it all pre-wired, free of charge. also, he ships your order out either same day or next day. great customer service

I bought my heattape from rich also. Nice guy, and yes they assemble it for free, but only the clamp method, I perfer to sodder the wire to the tape myself, I just like the fact that there is more of a connection between the tape and the wire. When doing it that way, you just need to make sure to have all wire electrical taped and covered so that you woulnt start a fire.

Mmmm, i wish i knew of this site a day ago...lol I guess i'll find out if i can assemble and crimp it with out the tool. But this site will be useful in the future. thanks!
