flex watt hummmm!!

my flex watt is humming is this normal? its only humming on a couple shelves

its a cross between a soft humming and soft buzzing sound. if i place my hand on top of the untaped flex watt i can feel vibrations in it.

Did you cover it with metal duct tape?

Check and see if the silver metal conductors are facing up, if you tape over them, there may be the reason for the hum.

yes i am using foil tape. and the metal conductors are facing up. what did i do wrong?
