Flexwatt

I can't seem to get my flexwatt to work...I attached the wiring to the clamp, onto the flexwatt metal part, had some clamps on it. I'm getting electrical tape tomorrow so I didn't get to rap it up or anything. But I followed instructions to set it up, and it won't work. Any ideas? Does the electrical tape HAVE to be attached to the end of the flexxwatt for the insulation for it to work?

no the electrical tape wont have anything to do with that. I skipped the crimp connection and sodered the wires to the flexwatt tape. I know from my knowledge in rc cars that connections were a loss of power and sodered wires were a much better connection! less resistance is less power being robbed!!! How did you wire it may i ask? Paralell i hope? How much heat tape per plug in? reostat being used? lemme kno!
