Flourescent blue light/ Safe?

Everything I've tried has heated my tank too much I believe. I was wondering if a plant light or a blue party light or a blue halogen light would be safe for my Leo or if it would hurt his eyes. Looking for a light that won't throw off so much heat.

I just got a 50W moonlight which looks like a black light and it gives off very little heat in addition to my UTH.

I know some major petstores sell the 50w blue moonlight bulbs

I got mine at my pet store near me. Small chain. They had that but lacked a lot of other things.
