watch your geckos eat them before you leave or make sure they eat them all and take out whats left over?

Just wondering because I don't want them climbing up the tank or anything. I just got some lobster roaches and I'm not too sure if they will climb up glass or not. Which roaches will climb and which ones wont?

Thanks!

I throw in how many ever I'm going to feed, and check back in a half hour. I feed dubia, and they do not climb plastic tubs, I know that! The only problem is that they DO hide, much worse than crickets.

Lobster roaches easily will climb out of a glass or plastic container. I actually raised my first two geckos on them, but I first had to slightly munch their heads before I threw them in. They will wiggle around for a good half hour after that, and the geckos can easily find them and take them down. You could also cut off their legs on one side so they will be unable to climb. And no I don't enjoy doing any of that.
