okay i have beetles breeding i have seen some small works do you then transfer beetles to a new container or just leave them ther untill they die? thanks

I just leave them in there with the mealworms until I see alot of mealies, then I move em. Just keep alot of carrot / food in there and you wont have to worry about them eating the mealies

At that point I usually take the beetles out and place them in a new fresh container to start a new batch of mealworms. If I have an overabundance of worms I'll put the beetles in a separate smaller container and just keep them alive until I'm ready for them to lay eggs again.

I switch min ethier once every two weeks, or once every three. I've found that if I give them fresh vegies twice a week, and have a bottle cap with moist paper towl in it (one in each corner) that I get a general hatch rate of 2.5k each two weeks or 3.5k in 3 weeks. ;)
