Forehead Callouses and Damage

It didn't seem like much at first, but it's not getting any better. I've increased the contrast just a bit to get the area in question more visible. It appears to be damaging the bumps on her forehead. Has anyone an idea of what this is, as well as treatment?

A very important question is whether or not this ailment is contagious to other geckos that she's living with. I have another tank to transfer her to in case it is.

I suggest transferring her to another "hospital tank" either way so that she isn't bothered by any other geckos and can have some healing time to herself. Keep the tank extra clean, disinfecting more often than normal (daily if possible).

I haven't seen that before, but have seen similar markings when a gecko rubbed itself too hard during shedding. I also know that sometimes, when a gecko has a parasite, it can get skin lesions.

What does her poo look like? Is it normal? Did you notice this before or after a shed?

it kind of looks like wounds that are healing either from bites or claw scratches from them climbing over each other.
my females that live together always get things like that.
but as said before if youd feel happier to separate them to watch the healing then thats a good idea.
how long has she been with the others?

I didn't even think of that. I've housed many groups together over the years and still haven't seen anything like that, but that is also a very high possibility.

It did appear after a shed, which is when I thought it was just a few scratches.

She's been with her tank mate for literally all her life, I did try a male gecko in with them for a few hours a few days ago which must have been the cause of the spreading. Since it's not anything contagious, I'll keep the two females together(the two are gentle with each other) unless anything else appears, and I will hold off re-introducing the male until after she's healed.

Mine get wounds from the male biting the top of the head during mating

i find that groups of female tank mates do have a strict hierarchy among them selfs, the more dominant ones literally walk all over the lower ones and sit on them to pust them about. thats where the claw marks come from 9 times out of 10.
just keep a good eye on them as shes clearly the lower, iv had to separate groups due to bullying and weight loss because of it.
