Found a first set of eggs..

Hello All,
One of my cresteds laid her first set of eggs sometime in the past few days. She laid them on top of some moist substrate, but they're uncovered. I asked a girl at my local reptile store and she said that unincubated eggs should be okay as long as they're in dry substrate. I was planning on getting an incubator, but not until after the holidays.

Are there any suggestion for what I can do with the eggs in the meantime?

This kind of caught me off guard, though I knew it would happen eventually.

Thanks,
Kris

Congrats on the eggs!!

Eggs should be kept in moistened vermiculite or perlite to keep them from dying out

You do not necessarily need an incubator with Crested eggs but they do need to be in a moist (not wet) medium

Here's one link of many that you can find with doing a search on "Incubating Crested Gecko eggs"-just scroll down the page to the incubation section

hope this helps
