found gecko after ten days on the loose

My crested gecko was loose for ten days. I thought it was dead for sure when this morning when I got up in the middle of night and there it was on the floor. IT has lost its tail and its eyes are sunken in. I put him back in tank and sprayed it down. the little guy started drinking the water drops instantly. I also put some cgd in the tank.....Any things i should look out for or things I can do to get my little guy back to good health???

Keep him good a moist, make sure he gets water into him, and a good bit of it. He'll need it. Tomorrow night try feeding some CGD by hand.

here is a pic I can tell a big diffrence already. The eyes are not sunken in and the head looks fuller....Looks alot diffrent with the tail gone....................

This little guy is so lucky to be alive.My cat is a 12 year old master assassin of small creatures. Ten days is a long time to be roaming around. I had been putting food out but never seen any prints on the dishes thought that the little guy might be dead...After I found him I saw the cat was playing with the tail so apparently the tail did its job and saved the geckos life....
