found something strange in tank

I just found this strange looking thing in my gecko tank. It wasn't there when I went to bed last night, and it wasn't there when I fed her this morning, but it was there when I just got home. It's long and white and shaped like a cornucopia. And when I say long, I mean half as long as her tail, and half as thick. My first thought was that it was the broken off tip of her tail, except there were no spots on it. It was also stuck to the side of the glass right at the paper towel she uses for her toilet. She is otherwise acting fine, ate yesterday and this morning both, but I can't help thinking this thing came from inside of her???

Has anyone ever seen anything like that before?

Thanks! That actually makes sense since she had a shed this morning. Still, does this mean something is seriously wrong? She has never done that before

Not necessarily anything wrong. Sometimes the shed gets stuck in their throat and they regurge it, other times it is a precursor for health issues.

I will certainly keep my eye on her then just to be sure. But as big as that thing was, it's not difficult to imagine that it got stuck in her throat

I agree with what Marcia said, and I'd try to monitor her over the next couple of days. Is she still eating fine? Defecating normally? No sudden behavioral changes or lethargy?
