Just a little update to show the development of our FE-line..
Here are some adult & "typical" FE-Females born 2006:
FE-Offspring with typical pattern:
All of them are pure FE-line, so we were a bit surprized that besides our "typical" ones, we also hatched out some nice lavender with Aberrant pattern in 2007:
We used them to create our FE Lavender Jungles. And this is how they can look now:
This female is a Holdback from '08. She is from crossing 2 of your lavender Jungle Four Eyeds, showing nice colours, still some amount of lavender, and a small tendency to Red Stripe.
The next generation is still in the incubator, and I am curious to see how they will turn out..
What started as wildtype & High Yellow- based Project only focused on head-pattern has gotten more and more colourful within the past generations. I just wanted to share because I think it is a nice example to show how a bloodline is going it's own, unexpected way through selective breeding..
