Okay, so...I did not produce these two, but I feel responsible for them.
A friend of mine was very enthusiastic about sharing the hobby with me, but then dropped it as quickly as he took it up. Mercurial disposition, I guess.
He had given away most of his collection, and I had tried to help him place some locally. But no one wanted these guys. I feel it is my fault they exist, even if indirectly. I am trying to make this right.
(Thing One)
They had severe shedding problems and moderate MBD by the time I picked them up for the last time, due to...flat out bad husbandry and lack of supplementation. One has a nipped tail and the other is missing several toes.
(Thing Two, aka Smiley - check out his back)
They are now about 6-8 months old (I don't have exact hatch dates or lineage). They are probably low grade mack snows or pastels, and are between 50-66% possible het Bell. You may decide to breed them, but I will not be responsible for any outcome if you decide to test breed. I feel they would be better off as pets, since they had a rough start.
My only request, other than shipping costs through SYR, is that you'll give me updates on them from time to time.
I'm also willing to arrange for local WA State pickup, drop-off, or meet-halfway-up for $0.35/mi if more than 20 miles from my house. I live in 98031.
Thanks for looking.
