Here is our first little baby from Jenna (snow poss. HET Raptor) to Ghost (snow engima poss. HET Raptor). The baby looks like a black whole, solid black eyes.

P.S. Not a super snow! But the pattern has us confused a little.

Enjoy!

Still in the hatching tub:

Already giving the camera some sass:

One more pic just for fun:

We hope that the egg that is the clutch-mate to this one will hatch. That egg is huge (it was posted here yesterday) and we aren't sure if the baby in that egg is ok ATM.

its not a super snow, but possibly a black hole. congrats! some babies though will be born with what looks like solid eyes and they change as they get older. very pretty little leo though.

I'm going with Black Hole on this one or at the very least interesting patterned Mack enigma

I agree. Congrats on the beautiful baby! Can't wait to see the clutchmate.

ETA: The pics are a bit small, but I'm pretty sure the nose is white. If it is, then it's a black hole. Sometimes eclipse eyes will fade, so it's not always a good way to tell.

2nd Egg didn't make it =(

Well we have some bad news. The second egg in the clutch didn't make it. The baby tried to hatch but it wasn't strong enough to get out. We came home to find his egg deflated with half of its contents spilled. We quickly opened the egg in hopes of finding a still alive hatchling, but no such luck. We know it is a little morbid but we took a picture to show you all how beautiful he would have been.

Very nice. And I agree with Shawn, Ryan, and Kristi... it looks like a Black Hole. Very nice hatchling. Best of luck with the other egg, I hope it comes out as cool as this one did for you. Please, post some more pics of this little fella in a few months... I can't wait to see what it looks like when it gets a little bigger.

Edit: Sorry about the second egg.

Thank you all for your kind words, gave him a little burial next to a palm tree in the backyard.

We are thankful that we at least got one baby from this pair. We will surely keep you all updated with regards to the progress of the first hatchling. We are very proud of that 1st little baby, full of spunk and attitude.
