Yeah, it was really cold here last night! And to make it worse, it was and still is windy. Poor iguanas...but they aren't supposed to be here in the first place. They were introduced so they aren't meant to be in sub-tropical regions. :(

I have read there are a few other introduced reptile species in Florida. While I was looking for care sheets for white spotted geckos, I read they were introduced to Florida. I wonder how all those introduced species are doing.

Well, unfortunately they aren't doing to well probably. :( I hate that people have introduced these species into Florida and they are incapable of living in this environment when it gets this way.

Yeah and I bet those people were too lazy to look for a Reptile Rescue or post on Craigslist. I look on Craigslist almost everyday. grrrrrrrrr :main_angry:

Yea,t his cold fropnt was pretty cold! Im glad we had one though. Nice to get out fo the hot weather. But yea, there are many species intorudced to Florida ike the iguanas, burmese pythons..ect.. Other species found in florida are basalisk lizards and anoles, escpecially the biggest species of anoles(cant remeber the name).

Yep.. Thats the one! I have a picture of one that was in my backyard. Ill try to post it tomorrow! They have amazing green colors!
