Anyone ever feed dusted fruit flies to a new born leopard gecko? any reason not to ? I dont have access to pinheads till 2 sundays from today Though I do have meal worms also and they will be in 24/7

I have not seen or heard of anyone using fruit flies so i wouldn't recommend. but Mealworms are good for your baby gecko as long as they come with a calcium supplementation. :main_thumbsup:
There'd be nothing wrong with feeding fruit flies, other than that they're very small. Not sure if the leos would go for them or not, but something a bit bigger would make a better feeder.
I have fruit flies on hand most of the time. Maybe I will see what my hatchlings do with them and let you know. Still I think they would need to eat too many flies to make this a viable feeder option if they do go for them
