Ok I have a couple of questions.... Will leopard geckos eat flightless fruit flies? Can I only keep one gecko in a 12x12x12 exo-terrium cage? What is the best way to tame a leopard gecko? thats all thanks

1) I don't know if leos could, or would even attempt to get a fruit fly
2) You should not put more than one in a 12x12x12 cage. I feel that a size close to that is even too small for one, but you can put one in there and many do.

I doubt even a hatchling would eat a fruit fly... Certianly not any leos over 5 grams in size. Small gutloaded mealworms and crickets would be the best choices.

I would consider that to be way too small of a tank, especially since it would be pretty hard to have a thermal gradient with such a small floorspace. A ten gallon is the smallest tank I would put a single gecko in once its bigger than 15 grams.

For taming: be patient and dont force it.

Well fruit flies would not be a staple diet, but rather a different "treat" for it (yet to determine its sex). I may even be getting a 10 gallon tank tomorow and maybe even getting another leopard!!!!

Where are you housing the other gecko? And I honestly don't think your leo is even gonna try to get the fruit flies. They will probably annoy your leo more than become food.
