Funny shaped egg

I have a really funny shaped egg in my incubator due to hatch Oct. 2nd. Since she laid it, it's been a strange teardrop shape. One end is really pointed. Is this common? It seems to be doing just fine. I was just curious. The clutchmate is normal shaped. :main_robin:

ive seen some that are a tiny bit tear dropped but not fully pointed at one end. as long as it stays healthy then should be fine. i guess you'll find out around october the 2nd

Update... The pointed egg hatched out a beautiful baby yesterday, exactly on the day expected. The clutchmate has not yet hatched.
And no, the baby doesn't have a pointed head! lol :main_laugh: Guess they can come in all shapes!
