Gargoyle Gecko not Liking CGD

Hi, all,

I was running low on my CGD, so I bought a new package of it, this weekend. When I fed it to my gecko, he can only eat a few bites of it, before fleeing from it. He even tried to wipe it off his mouth, onto my wrist.
Aside from my being used as a human napkin, I was wondering if there have been any recent/significant changes to the CGD formula? I did notice that while this new package smells much more banana-like than my previous one, but there's no special label for it.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

He might not like that particular flavor. I have read that sometimes geckos will be so picky that they will only eat their favorite flavor of CGD.

Thanks for your reply! Both the old and new flavors were the "Original", which is why I thought it was strange. I got him to eat better, after I added some more water to the mix. I guess I'll just have to feed him a little more of it to balance out the dilution effect...

Not sure about Gargs but I just got a couple cresteds (i.e. I am NOOOOO expert!!). I was told that, as others have said, they are particular and may starve themselves if the food is not to their liking. As I understand it, Repashy changed its forumla not to long ago and lots of folks had issues with it. I've been steered toward Pangea and Clarks as good alternatives to Repashy. Good luck!!
