My two girls, Gwen and Ginger. We will be looking for a nice boy early next year.
man i have been looking for a couple of blotched or red striped females. i have a male retic and a male striped, but want to introduce the reds/oranges. those girls are gonna be some lookers. congrats!
Thank you! These are my first ones and I've had them for just a few months now. They've adjusted nicely and do well together, eat and poop good, but I may not breed this year because I don't think they'll be big enough. Guess I'm just used to geckos that grow faster. Most of the info on Rhacs is about cresteds, similar as they are, they're not the same. Fascinating little animals they are, and I especially like that their regrown tails look just about like the originals. My red blotch came from BigFatGeckos, and I'm sure they'll have a nice red stripe boy sometime this year.
the main difference ive noticed is that they love to hide under the orchid moss during the day. they are a lot more terrestrial than my crestie or my leachie. and my god do they bite hard! ive been bitten by a ton of leos, but never had blood drawn. at the last expo here i was showing a customer one of my males, he did not want to go back in his deli cup. he tried to tear my finger off, lol.
We just got back from Repticon Orlando and of course I had to look at gargs, just in case there might be a nice boy.......... don't think my girls will be ready this year unless its real late so there's plenty of time to find the perfect boyfriend. A good idea to start looking since it's mostly females I see at our shows..... I can't believe he was sitting right there waiting for me! Exactly what I was looking for and more!!! Stay tuned for the photo, coming tomorrow!
Well the pics didn't come thru. Of course a user error due to my poor photography and upload skills Will give it another go when i figure it out (putting on the dunce cap).
Gah, don't tease like that!
