Gecko acting strange

I have been noticing at my gecko has been acting strange lately. She seems to have lost a little weight n the tail. When she moves she walks backwards a lot and holds her head close to the ground. Almost lie she is trying to scratch something. She squints her eyes a little more than usual and just doesn't seem normal.

Any ideas as to what it may be? I had a colony of 5 geckos and one of my geckos got sick and I had to put her down about 4 months ago. She had been quarantined and had many tests done which showed nothing. Probably crypto. Anyway, 2 other geckos have since gotten sick and been put down. I am down to my 2 heartiest geckos(well, the first one that died had been in excellent health) and they are caged together. Have been alone in the cage for about 2 months now.

Don't know what to do. It's Ben about 6 months of nothing but agony with one gecko or another.

Maybe there was some way Crypto was passed on to them. I know you quarantined, did you disinfect everything the sick gecko's had been in contact with? Also, Crypto is not easily found.
"Crypto affects snakes and lizards differently, and is much more difficult to diagnose in lizards because the symptoms are more elusive than in snakes. In lizards, the parasite invades the GI tract in the lining of the intestines creating inflammation and lesions that severely inhibit the absorption of nutrients."
Crypto - Leopard Gecko Wiki check it out on what to look for etc.
Hope things get better x

Crypto is not easily killed either. From what I understand ammonia works to kill it somewhat but its not 100% and almost nothing else does (for example bleach does not). It can lie dormant in an environment for a very long time as well. Most recommend getting rid of everything a sick gecko came in contact with if you suspect crypto :(

Have you checked to make sure everything with your setup is correct? Temperature, supplementation, lighting etc? If they are kept too warm or too dry geckos can get sick and show a range of symptoms. THey can also show a range if they have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. Might not be a bad idea to complete the info in the sticky at the top of this section.

Sorry to hear you're going through such a hard issue! Best of luck!
