Gecko clubs or shows in the UK

Hi,

I know most of the people here are from the States but was wondering if anyone knows of any gecko owner clubs or shows going on in the UK? I'd love to go along to some although I'm sure I'd come back with a few too many little tubs with some new friends in

I'm not sure about shows, because to my knowledge every show is canceled because of so called 'animal rights activists'. I was in Hamm the other day and there were members of a reptile club who went to the show in Hamm as a trip, so there's at least one reptile club in the UK. How and where, I don't know... I'm from Holland!

hi paul,

in the uk, there is nothing really specific on geckos i know about, however there are a few breeders meetings around the country every year, which always have lots of nice gecko morphs for sale, the 2 i normally go to are rodbaston and doncaster.

club wise, theres the IHS (international herp society) look them up on google as im not sure of the rules of sending links on this site (or pm me if your stuck) and see if theres a local club to you, ours in nottingham meet on the second tuesday of every month for a few beers and normally a talk or 2.
