gecko doesnt eat as much!

hi i have a 5 inch juvenile leopard gecko and i read that they should be eating 6-8 crickets a day but mine only eats 3 or four at night. i try feeding him during the day but she doesn't want to eat them. i have a cold hide which is 70 degrees and a warm hide with uth which is around 85 to 95 degrees. this is my 2nd week with her. i know she settled in because the first 4 days she didn't eat anything. am i doing something wrong?

No mate. Give him some time. Every gecko is slightly different. 3-4 crickets is ok, if he wanted more im sure he would eat them. Why dont you try and give him some mealworms. He might like to eat a few of them. They should fatten him up a bit too
