Gecko drink's

there are questions in the forum reptiles in Indonesian
about " can we give our LG drinks like water isotonic "

people usually drink it after exercise....

and I myself do not dare to give a comment because I do not know good or bad for gecko

from what i know, some gecko owners here in this forum feed their geckos 'DILUTED GATORAD'. especially for weak and dehydrated geckos. it gives them abit of energy and keeps them hydrated. just like how humans do after exercising.

Exo Terra makes a reptile safe electrolyte product (you simple measure out droplets into the water).

There are also other brands who make similar products for reptiles. I don't see any harm in giving them diluted Gatorade/Poweraid... just remember the extra sugar you're giving your reptile.

I've aways used unflavored pedilyte diluted 50/50 per a recommendation from a reptile rescue organization. Personally, I don't trust all the sport drink additives to be suitable for animal rehabilitation. It might be okay- my vet would need to confirm that before I'd try it. In other countries it seems there would be a comparable infant product available.
