Hey guys.. this is my first post here.. ive had 2 leopard geckos for years and they are both pretty healthy.
I was out of town a few days and didnt moisten the guys hide enough while he was shedding so this shed was a little more difficult, but he got almost all of it of, just a bit around his mouth/eyes and a few toes got stuck.. ive tried using a q tip to dab repti-shedding aid around the eye/mouth but he really doesnt like it and moves away violently, seems to get scarred etc. anyway, I put him in a smaller cage with lots of moist paper towels and was rubbing his face on it and I used some tweezers to pull off some of it.. should help..
But anyway, I noticed as I was dinog this hes got some brownish/whitish lump stickin out of his private area.. I think this happened once before years ago, my girlfriend took him to the vet and they just cleaned it up and we put some antibiotic cream on for a few days..
Do you think its because, im thinking maybe he had an issue shedding down there and then poo'd and it got sorta stuck and just hardened in the area??
What should I do?
