Since this seemed to turn out ok, I thought I'd share
a somewhat funny gecko incident.
I have many good gecko jockeys, since all of my geckos get
plenty of riding my body while I do gecko chores.
The heavier ones make the best jockeys.
I can feel their location better and they just seem to have less
reason to dismount a heavier body to a non-flesh object. (as the floor)
On one previous light weight jockey ride, I couldn't find the
little girl.
Just knew I had screwed up and missed her dismount.
So I started a hurried up search, yelling at Ozzie (my cat)
to "stay away" from the dismount area.
Good cat with geckos, cause he fears and knows my warnings.
The search began and lasted 10 minutes....
It was the first time I found an escapee on the
seat ...(clean forum talk) of my denims.
A laugh causing Stressful moment...........
***********This was the warm up,
now the feature story.
*** Three days ago, I had to take a whizz.
My near ninty gram male Mr. T. was jockey for the quarter
mile at Santa A-john-eta. .....
Riding high on my shoulder as usual, track was clear,
weather was sunny, his mount was a bit in a hurry,
but about half through the wizz when a sharp sound
of hoof beats were at the door, startling the wizz-e.
Causing a sharp turn and a slight spray of what we'll call
yellow rain.
The sure footed jockey Mr. T lost his footing in the stir-ups and
plummittied to the (ground, floor, ?)
no, none of the above........
clue: a splash was heard.
Yeah,..... appears he held his breath though.
But he did need a quick shower.
I believe him to be AOK from his present actions, never missed a meal, and still partied with G-Friends til 3:00 AM on Friday.....................
He had me worried for a while though.
Hope you had a Gecko moment of humor.
Take care. Hj
