Gecko ingests a bit of paper towel

My friends gecko has ingested a bit of paper towel. She ate bit it while biting a mealie at the same time. The bit she swallowed was about 1cm in length and 1/4cm in width. My friend is pretty worried so please reply quickly.

One of my geckos did it once and nothing happened. I'd suggest to watch for signs of impaction but not to worry too much, she should pass the paper with no problems.

If the paper towel had any kind of color pattern or scent it could be toxic, though.

Dont worry, she will pass it ok.
I have seen them swallow (and pass) much larger things

my female has done this and she passed it fine

Don't worry, its only a very small piece of paper towel. I had some geckos swallowed a long strand of sphagnum moss while shedding, and they managed to passed it out fine.

(I switched back to coir now).
