I have had my gecko for about 17 days and in the beginning it ate a couple of crickets and a couple of mealworms ( 5 each)

He last ate around 5 days ago and doesn't even seem interested in superworms, waxworms, mealworms or crickets.

He just shed two days ago which I heard can stop them from eating but I would think two days after he would start getting hungry again.

What should i do?

Thanks in advance!

Try giving him some warm soaks. It can really jump start their whole digestive system and get things going. Is he pooping at all?

The VERY first thing u need to check is what is your surface temp on the warm end of her tank under her hide especially.it needs to be between 88-95 degrees.i would suggest getting a valued tool , a temp gun that monitors temps.without proper heat they will go off food.

I have a digital thermometer with a prob which i have on the substrate, and the surface temp is 89.9

What are warm soaks?

Fill up a gladware container up about an inch with warm (not hot) water and let her soak in it for 20 or so minutes. Make sure it's not too deep for her. It's good for jump starting their whole digestive system.
