About your leo:
- Sex-Female
- Age & Weight-1+ year (Possibly two now...) 47g
- How long have you owned your leo-nearly a year.
- Where was he/she obtained (ex. Pet store, breeder, wild caught, friend) Friend, she got her at a store
A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo Atleast weekly, often more so, and even more when the cousins are around because they like to see them.
- Is your leo acting any different today? If so how does he/she normally act which differs from now. No.
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe. None that I am aware of
B) Fecals
- Describe (look any different than normal) Normal
- When was the last time he/she went-Not sure, just cleaned the cage last night
C) Problem
- Please briefly describe the problem and how long it has been going on
I'm not sure how long it has been going on, but in just over two months my gecko has lost 7 grams. I am only worried because she has been keeping a pretty constant weight until I weighed her.
Housing:
A) Enclosure
- Size 20gL
- Type (ex. glass tank) Glass
- Type of substrate Reptile carpet
- Hides, how many, what kind humid, cool, warm, and others scattered and made from different tank decorations
B) Heating
- Heat source I have an overhead heat lamp that helps keep them warmer during the day, as well as an uth
- Cage temps (hot side, cool side)90, 75-80 normally. Been a little lower recently because weather
- Method of regulating heat source
- What are you using to measure your temps
- Do you have any lights (describe) 1 overhead heat lamp, as well as window light
C) Cage mates
- How many (males, females) 1 female
- Describe health, or previous problems none, actually, she's a fatty.
Describe Diet:
A) Typical diet
- What you're feeding (how often, how much) I feed meal worms, 10 at a time (five for each) or superworms when meal worms are unavailable, though in smaller quantities.
- How are you feeding (hand fed, left in dish, ect) I do five closest to each gecko, simply dropping them in there at night when they are awake.
B) Supplements (describe how often)
- What vitamin/minerals are you using (list brands) Calcium, one with d-3, one without, I think its the repti one, but I will check in the morning.
- What are you gut loading food with vegetables
I'm mostly just worried because she has lost what seems like quite a bit. And I know its not because of Quinn, the other gecko, because when its feeding time I always make sure they are in seperate corners, and if quinn comes too close, Harlie, the gecko I'm worried about, makes her go away until she is done eating. Quinn has been around Harlie for a months now, and they don't bully each other, other than occasionally stealing food, but I try to stop the fights before they happen. They are similar in size, so I know its not a size issue with the food, other than one just really likes to eat more than she needs.
