Gecko loves nesting on shoulder, doesn't want to get off.

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I have a male Nova Leo who seems to LOVE nesting on my shoulder under my hoodie. I suppose he likes the warmth and feel of cotton. He's been there for 2 hours now. I tried picking him up to put him back in his cage but he made a lot of chirping noises and moved farther under my hoodie. I think he didn't want to be moved. I have read leopard geckos shouldn't be handled too much because they could get stressed. Should I just leave him there? Do any of you have such a cuddly gecko? I'm certainly not complaining, I'm just curious.

As long as he's happy and doesn't get too cold, I'd say its fine. You're lucky to have a snuggler! Both my boys just want to roam lol

I think it's the heat he's after. He hides under the hood of my sweater and sleeps. I'm really happy he's so calm. He likes my sweater pocket too. I'm super careful not to hurt him or make him uncomfortable. He doesn't even try to move except to snuggle more. Lol

My girl likes to try to climb into my beard or onto my back. I suppose my beard probably seems a bit like moss to her so that one makes sense, but I think she just likes watching me squirm while I try to get her off my back... Lol

I notice that he looks up at me when I open his cage. He'll actually try to stand on his hind legs to get to my hand. I'm not sure if this is a feeding response (my hands are associated with food now?) or if he's looking forward to being handled.
