Gecko Noise

So, my little guy Ahriman, S/he likes to make noise sometimes. I've heard that is normal. But about half an hour ago, I heard a sound that was sort of like... a frog? I guess you could say. It was weird. Anyways, I went and checked on them, S/he seemed perfectly fine. They do usually make some noise at night, but it has never sounded as such.
There was a fresh pile of poop *normal looking* so I was wondering if maybe it had to do with going to the bathroom? Or something. Any ideas?

Not sure if they make noises while they relieve them self's. But I have heard my geckos make a sort of clicking noise like clicking your tongue or in your throat.

You tend to hear all kinds of noises. I have my computer in their room and on nights when I'm sitting up late gaming... I hear some crazy stuff coming from their bins and tanks. Everything from geckos sneezes to sqeaks to creasties crashing thru their foliage going nuts.

I swear I laugh every time I hear a gecko sneeze. Too darn cute.

haha yeah I forgot about creasties going crazy, I have one that you can NOT touch after 10pm he will poop on you if you get him. But he loves to jump from the background to the front glass doors and then to his coco fiber.

haha yea. I hear strange stuff from him a lot but it was just plain bizzar xD
My other lizard Neara is always silent, she only squeaked once when I picked her up. It's cool how geckos are verbal unlike so many other types of lizards.

And some more than other. My one boy Grendel sounds like a grump whenever you pick him up. He doesn't really seem to care (doesn't squirm or try to get away) is just very verbal about it.

Others I've never heard a peep out of.

And the cresties... they are some strange creatures. Our one male, Jabba, will once in a great while do this weird cackle/laugh thing. It's strange and hilarious at the same time. No idea why he's doing it but it's definetally a trip. I've had him do that twice to me now.

I hear what sounds like my juvi Ari has gas when she goes to the bathroom sometimes. Sounds like a small human toot...
Could easily be mistaken for a frog I guess :)
