Hello! We just got our first leopard gecko for our 5-year-old daughter. Okay, we got him mostly for me, what can I say? 
We named him Toon. He's a partial stripe morph. We got him from a chain pet store because their supply looked pretty healthy. I did a lot of research before getting him, so I feel pretty confident. I am using reptile carpet for substrate, two of those "U" shaped wooden hides (I put cardboard on both ends with a little door on the front to make him feel less exposed". I put a humid hide in the center. He's been ravenously eating his mealworms, crickets and waxworms. His little tail is getting fatter.
