Not all leos eat their shed skin, most do. You don't have to worry about it if they don't eat it.
Usually they eat it because predators in the wild will find them easier, or some think that they eat it because it contains vitamins that are good for them.
I wouldn't worry too much if he isn't eating his shed. I also wouldn't change his suppliment schedule. If you're dusting every other feeding (depending on age maybe every feeding) with a good suppliment then all should be well.
