Hi there,
My female leopard gecko, Karma, has not eaten in about two months now. She's taken a meal worm or two about twice, but other than that she has not eaten. I took her to the vet in late January/early February and they said she had pinworms and provided me with medication. I thought this could be a possibility because her poop did not look healthy. I do not believe the medication helped at all because her poop has not changed much and she still has not eaten. About half way through the the two months, my other definite female, Nova, also quit eating. Because both of them have not been drastically losing weight, (Karma weighed about 75 g before the incident. Her tail and neck have slimmed some but otherwise she is a healthy weight. Nova has not changed at all.) could this possibly be brumation or even ovulation? Should I take them both back to the vet? Thanks!

If the vet confirmed that she had pinworms, than you should go back to the vet to see if she is clear. If she is not, it may require a different medication.

Are the housed together? If so, Nova almost definitely has pinworms too. If not, it's still possible that it was transferred to her somehow. You may want to have a fecal done for her as well.

It could be ovulation, but it's a little suspicious since she recently was diagnosed with parasites.
