Hi all! I got two Leo's about a week and a half ago from their second previous owner. They are approximately 4 months old (owner didn't know) and both look very healthy.

When I got them I cleaned the cage and replaced the substrate as well as added a reptile heat pad under one side (Pic below). One gecko has adjusted great, been eating and just shed yesterday. The other rarely comes out of the cool end of the tank unless I place her/him in the warm zone. She/he isn't eating - looks at the worms and then looks away and ignores them. I also tried crickets for better nutrition overall and more excitement- neither have any interest.

All in all, the one not eating still looks healthy, the tail is plump and colors are bright. I'm just worried that it's been almost 2 weeks since he/she ate.

I'm going to get a better thermometer today to see if that helps. Any other suggestions as to what I can do? What do I need to watch out for? Do you think she's trying to bromate? It is winter here in Utah. Any suggestions help and thanks in advance! :)

I'd make sure that the tank is not too hot. Lights and a heat pad often take temps too high. Getting a probe thermometer or an Infrared Thermometer to measure the temp on the ground is best. The air temp in the tank should be in the 70s to low 80s but they do need a spot on the ground around 90 to digest their food properly.

That light is super bright. It may be stressing your geckos out. I would switch it to a blacklight or just shut it off completely if your house ambient temp is not below 65.
