Hi looking for some advice. I have been to the vet and had my gecko looked at said she didn't look like anything wrong and to try and force feed half worms to see if that helps appitite. Whilst opening the mouth with a soft end of cotton bud I noticed a white line on the underside of the tongue. Is this normal or is a trip back to vet needed invade its a parasite? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Leo is 1 year old 30grams (has lost most tail due to not eating)
set up is 3 foot aquarium style tank. Under tank heater. Floor temp 31 degrees centigrade . Hide on warm cool and humid hide in middle. Water bowl calcium dish food dish with meal worms. Dusted and fed. Used to eat crickets but has lost all interest. Substrate is repti carpet which is cleaned daily and washed and changed weekly.

You may want to sent a fecal sample to avian bio-tech for a full parasite run through. They can provide more accurate test results then most vets can. You should definitely have your gecko tested for crypto though. Keep trying to feed your gecko, and you should probably try using the golden gate gecko slurry (the recipe is in a sticky, at the top of the health and medication forum) this should help get nutrition into your gecko until you can figure out what's wrong with your gecko, because he sounds severely under weight right now. I hope he improves in health, and welcome to the forum! :)
