Well after 2 weeks of not knowing if it'd ever come we finally got a phonecall from the petshop saying that a woman had given them a 2 yr old leo that would need rehoming. She's absolutely lovely, and doesn't just like being handled - she loves it. Juts weighed her and she is 68.5g so nice and fat!

Unfortunately her previous owners obviously had no idea how to handle a gecko, the end of her tail is a regrown, there is so much skin on her toes (a couple look like they're dead toes too that are being held on by the skin) and she was living on sand. At the moment we're working on getting that skin off but we're doubtful with how many toes we'll beable to save.

She's currently nameless so please give us some good suggestions! Preferably ones that'll goe nicely next to Izi and Blaise!

Okay so pic time:

Here's me on webcam holding Izi and our newly adopted leo...

Here's Izi in comparison to our newbie...

And a close up of her face...

Edit: Hahaha, oh my it seems Andre is rather unlucky when it comes to handling the gecko's....he's now been pooed on twice and newbie just bit him for no obvious reason. Guess they just love me more ^_^

You can get another gecko as long as its roughly the same size, but you should not get 2 males together as its said they will often fight to the death. But just so you know, leo's are actually solitary animals, so are perfectly happy to be housed alone. You really should have started your own thread to ask though, and get information from much more experienced leo owners than myself =)
