Gecko Pooing

Hey guys,
this may sound a bit stupid but my gecko keeps crapping on me and its kinda making me hold him less. Is there a way to get him to poo in a routine or something as i love the little guy but i just dont like getting crapped on.

lol. Maybe you should wait until he poops, then hold him. Or you could hold him before feeding.

Yeah is he pooing on any type of consistant schedule? Do you hold him around the same time of the day or is it just random?

He might be training you not to hold him, "If I poop, i get put back, ...yay??!" or maybe he's associated being taken out much like a dog would associate being taken out into the backyard. Potty time. If its the latter, pick him up and put him on something for him to poop on, and see if that works. If its the first, let him poop and keep lovingly manhandle the little guy so he learns his poop missiles wont take you down.

[I've been worried about this actually, that mine might decide to use their poop as either a handling-deterrent or start to see being out of their cage as the backyard. Its yet to happen, thanks guys!]

Well i have had my gecko for 5 months now and i have been pooed on 3 times now many she doesnt like me? :[

Hmmm.. That is odd. Ive never been pooped on, and never heard anyone mention this before. I havent been in that game all that long though.. But geckos are like kids lol.. They can be pains i guess lol
