I wasn't sure this belonged in feeding/feeders, or health.. But I'm going with health.
I have 2 female leos, who like to scare me and go without food for a couple days at a time.. It's happened before, so when they refuse a meal (they get fed everyday) I don't panic. First of all, sorry this is so long..Now let me give some background info.I got her from a "breeder" (man who threw fertile eggs in a homemade incubator)off of craigslist, who quit breeding so was just selling some leos. They were housed on wood chip substrate, no heat mat (only a bright white light) with crickets thrown in weekly (No point, they hid in the wood chips) and a dish of mealies.. Now, you can figure it's likely that the gecko had impaction, but I got her anyways.
I nursed her back to health.. She was semi-skinny but not bad, and just in poor condition. I think she had slight MBD, she seemed blind, and was practically brown from head to tail, and is now yellow and purple..
Now, my point to that is, that aws 2 1/2 months ago, Everything got better, and she became CRAZY for superworms. Refused mealies, and would only take a cricket every once in a while. Well, she likes to refuse a meal or a few meals once in a while to scare me, however it's been about 1 1/2 weeks without food or poop. Then, just yesterday (still no food) she had a BIG poop that she didn't bother to take to the poop corner.. I opened it up and it was full of.. stuff? Undigested bug parts, I couldn't even tell what most of it was, and it smelled! She still won't eat, is she impacted from before I got her still, 2 1/2 months ago? What do you think is wrong with her..? My other girl quit eating with her for about 3 days, then pigged out every night since.
Thanks in advance! I'm kind of panicking :bigcry:

Also, this may or may not be unrelated, but she is NOT shedding, however as she was walking she stopped dead, foot still in the air, and grabbed her foot in her mouth and started yanking on it.. That was only about 5 minutes ago.

Warm side floor temp is about 85, when it gets low I have a red light I turn on that does heat up the floor by a few degrees.
I use paper towel and reptile carpet for substrate, when the carpet is dirty I use paper towels.

You want the floor temp to hit 90 at least, it should be around 90-95. Get a properly sized under tank heater and that should do the trick. With low temperature, it can be hard for the leopard geckos to digest their food. It's possible she had issues digesting, possible she was impacted somehow, possible she has parasites. If she's an adult and gravid, it's also possible she has eggs in her that's affecting with her pooping.

Make sure you provide proper heat. Make sure you have enough hides for them, warm hide, moist hide, and cool hide. A picture of your tank setup and the leos would be helpful.

Hello! Thank you for the response :)
I do actually have a properly sized UTH, I just use the light when it gets chilly. It may be about 90-95.. It fluctuates, never lower than the 85 though. And sorry if this doesn't imply to geckos, but I have horses and you can "de-worm" them for worms and parasites, does the same apply to leos? I don't think she's gravid, but if she was wouldn't she want to eat?
I've never heard of Warm moist AND cool. I have a warm hide on the UTH, and a moist hide on the cool side. They have no problems sharing these, and I almost always find them together. I'll try to post pictures.. I just took them now, so they're current. The spotted gecko is her, the tangerine is her tank mate.

(Sorry the tank looks messy.. We were murdering bugs last night.)

So I just got a new probe thermometer, as the old one was just that, old.. It's reading about 100 for floor temps.. Kept going up then stopped at around 100F.. Is it too hot, or can that factor in on anything that's going on right now?
