I have a 1 month old gecko who had some shed stuck on his head. I moistened his head but once I pulled the stuck shed away he started to have what looked like a seizure. His muscles all tightened up and his body had a little curl to it. I layed him back in his tub with his clutch mate and he layed on his side and continued to sieze for about 15 - 20 seconds. Once he was done he had trouble moving his leggs but slowly recovered. I am trying to get a vet appointment asap. I moved him to his own tub to lesson the stress his temps are good he has a moist hide, calcium dish, water, and worm dish in his 6 qt tub. Also he has been the best eater out of all the babies I produced so far this year.

Has anyone had anything like this happen to them?

One of my old Pet Store Leos had a ton of leftover shed so I decided to give her a bath. After the bath she was shaking her whole body and then she seemed fine. But a couple days later she was curled up in the corner of her 10 gallon tank, not moving, barely breathing. Finally she must have died in the night because when I woke up she was laying in an unnatural position, not moving or breathing.:( Anyway yes I think she might have had a seizure when her body was shaking out of control.
