Hi! :p I'm new to this site and I was wondering if there is a reason why my gecko is suddenly sneezing?! It's worrying me since it is my first gecko and I've only had him (Meep) for a week now! He is eating fine, I have a cool hide, just got a warm, dry, hide today, and a moist hide. My tank normally stays about 40% humidity with 80ish temp on the warm side... Congrats to your first gecko and welcome :) Your gecko sounds like he/she is suffering from a respiratory infection so you need to take it to a vet! The respiratory infection can be caused by wrong temperatures and humidity. How often does your gecko sneeze? If he/she has been sneezing for more than just one occasion, I would see a vet asap! But there are some things that you can try in the meanwhile. First, you really need to get a digital thermometer with a probe so that you can measure the ground temperatures above the uth correctly! It is very important to have a good method for checking the temperatures. Secondly, I recommend you to reduce the humidity levels in the tank. It is also very important to dust your insects with multivitamin! You can get Repashy Calcium Plus to cover all your geckos needs.

I notice that it has been a while since you posted. Has the sneezing continued? If so, please take it to a vet ASAP! I really hope you do and your gecko gets better! Good luck and let us know how your gecko is doing!
