Gecko turned nippy.. Help?

Okay, so my Leo went through a mental retardation stage, forgot how to eat.. Tried to bite everything and tongue fell out every time he opened his mouth.. Had to feed him with a syringe. But he is all better and back to normal now, except he won't let me go near him anymore.. His tail shakes and tries to lunge at me. Anyway to fix this? Or should I just not bother..?

The only thing you can do is start the taming process again. For scared leos I try to feed them off tweezers. In my opinion it is the best way to build back that trust. Hope this helps.

SLOWLY start handling him in the cage for a few minutes a day and then just start increasing the amount of time you handle him. You'll probably have to get bit a few more times but hopefully you'll be able to handle him regularly in no time. :main_thumbsup:
