I think I have a problem on my hands, not sure. My gecko started turning white last night, at around 8 pm (9/13). It's now 9/14 the next day at around 9pm, and she's still totally white. I prepared her humid hide last night as soon as I noticed she was turning white, she's in there, and I just sprayed her with some water and she just sat under the spray seeming to enjoy it. Now she's not even attempting to shed....is this normal to have a gecko turn completely white for more than a day and not shed? Should I help her along?

p.s. She's completely white except for about 2/3rd's at the end of her tail,. maybe she's just waiting for the tip of the tail to turn white then shed??
Her sheds usually only take 3 hours, this is the longest shed ever!

Do you have the vivarium at least 60% humidity and keep temp up? My Leo started to turn white, so i just up the humidity, kept misting the vivarium and had a moist hide on the warm side of the tank. S/he shed without any problems. sometimes it takes a couple days to shed. if it keeps up for more than a few days, then call a reptile vet and explain the situation to see what they recommend.
