After an interesting incident of mold (planted viv >.<) I've reconfigured my setup for a terrestrial gecko of currently unknown species, and yes I do realize a 29g is a bit of a tall tank for that ^_^;.
So here is the completed project, with the exception of a red light, calcium dish and some false plants that I intend upon getting:
Currently debating what I'll put in it, the terrarium was originally going to be set up for a Crestie but after so many issues with getting it set up the way I wanted, I changed my mind. The idea of a crested possibly losing its tail permanently kindof spooked me anyway to be honest ^_^;. So far I've looked into Banded, Leopard, and African Fat tailed geckos but any suggestions would be welcome. Currently the tank is reading 93 F on the hot side and 80 F on the cool, humidity without misting is always at 35%-40%. Substrate is a mixture of Eco-Earth and playsand (9/1 ratio) with flagstone that's had the edges filed down pressed into it, these are still being rearranged a bit to avoid any chance of impaction. Any suggestions on what to put in here or changes to the design would be very welcome.
