Hey, I'm going to take her to a vet ASAP when I manage to find a Herp Vet locally.
I thought she was just off her food for a few days but it's been a week or so now and I'm getting worried.

Gecko is about a year old. 49g weight. No apparent weight loss. Refused food for about a week and a half now (even wax worms.) I checked for ovulation and I cannot see eggs, though I may be missing them. Gecko seems content in enclosure as she has been in there for quite some time now. No substrate in Viv, She is on tiles. Temps are correct. She also has a moist hide and a granite tile to lay her belly on to digest. Always has cali dust in the viv and water.

She has never put on much weight, even though she is on the same diet as other geckos I own that are nice and fat.

Any ideas why she might not be eating?

Props on taking her to a vet ASAP, but I don't see a problem with her not eating if she isn't losing weight. All of my females (so four) all will go on food strikes in the winter throughout various times.

If you say her husbandry is correct and she's not losing weight, chances are she may be ovulating or starting to. For a gecko that age, this is the season to start ovulating for them.

You could always do a fecal exam to make sure she's parasite free.

There's a great sticky thread in the Feeding section of this forum, you might find some of the advice there useful! :)

I usually do not say this, if ever, but I think she doesn't need a vet. If shes not losing weight and looks coherent to her surrounds she will be fine. My females always take eating breaks, especially around this time of year.
