I have a few geckos that turn vibrant deep orange when outside, and are yellow orange inside. When you sell these, do you show pics of them inside or outside? Thanks, Paul

Well I was just wondering in general. Ill post pics later, but sometimes it makes sense to have your geckos look nice where you see them most, indoors.

Most of the time we are looking at our Leos under the worst possible lighting(red/next to none) especially at night
I love daylight/natural sunlight pics
In natural lighting you can see the true color of the gecko although the albinos are too crazy about it and usually shut their eyes in any bright light-lol

Pictures in natural light are the best because they show the true colors and give the buyer a true idea of what to expect, but I also believe that it should be noted by the seller when pictures are taken under natural light so there is no confusion when the buyer gets their gecko. Not everyone knows about it, and if just one person gets angry because they bought a bright orange gecko and received what appears to be a yellow-orange one when they open the box, then the reputation of the seller might be brought down. There is enough controversy when it comes to the reptile hobby, and if a breeder is truly respectable then they dont need their name slandered over a small difference in light quality. It just comes down to ethics an honesty.

Many people take pictures of their geckos outside. I think the main thing is to mention how you take your pictures and if the buyer complains you don't get nailed with "not as pictured" comments.
