Geckos day out - Vet trip

So Loki, Odin, and Dante all went to the vet today.

Lucky for us since we got back home late last night from a 3 day trip out to Il for the hubby's band. Needless to say Odin had quite a suprise for us... a nice eye infection.

So we have eye drops.

Secondly, it was hell trying to get fecal samples while we were away and they were being gecko-sitted. Luckily Dante graced us with a sample just before we packed up and left this afternoon.

Good new is he is totally clean of parasites (apparently the type listed was roundworms). Bad news is we're still unsure what is causing all these problems in all three. So now started the antibiotics for the next two weeks.

So it's eye drops and antibiotics. It could be worse. :main_thumbsup:

Medical Update

Odin's eyes have cleared up nicely. Unfortunetally no one is eatting on their own yet, so it's still antibiotics mixed in with the slurry every night. I'd love to be able to give it to them all directly, but they quickly go from cute and cuddely to vicious, ravenous gators. lol. But on the good side, they do all seem to have more energy.
