Geckos fighting

I introduced a smaller male and female to my larger female cage because it is so much larger and nicer than the setup for the smaller ones. My large female is very mild tempered so I decided I would keep a close eye and try it. Weeks later now my male has attacked the larger female. I herd they get rough when they mate but this was really bad. Is there any chance they will get along? I have never herd of the smaller one being the problem.

You need to remember that geckos are just like people in some ways...each one has a different personality and sometimes the "smaller" ones are just plain jerks.

My younger gecko is one of those jerks. lol. She bullied my fat lazy raptor, so I deemed her incapable of sharing a living space with another gecko.

This kind of happened to me to, except my male tried to mate with my female and she fought back and i separated them for a week, left a piece of paper in both tanks and then switched the papers so they both recognized eachother by scents and there hasnt been any problems since

If the female isn't receptive and the male tries to mate with her (i.e. rape her) she'll more than likely resist and he can and may kill her trying. I've had fights break out like at the close of the breeding season when the male was still ready to breed and the female wasn't even after them living together for months peacefully. Introducing leos is a chancy business in general. I try to keep an eye on mine for the first 15 minutes and then every few hours for a couple of days before I'm content to let them be. I also always have a spare cage ready in case they need to be separated.
