My brother is currently in Bengladesh through a college program, he is helping with a flooding problem that has to do with his civil engineer degree. Anyway, he sent me a few pictures of geckos he saw and I am looking for an ID:

Sorry for the necromancy...
That is Hemidactylus, the house gecko, likely Hemidactylus bowringii, (aka Bowring's gecko, Asian smooth gecko, Oriental leaf-toed gecko). In Bangladesh it would be known locally as a "tiktiki" (short I - short I - long E, accent on the second syllable). They're cute, clean, harmless, and they eat bugs; most people are happy to have them.
