My 2yr old daughter loves this book: Geckos Make a Rainbow
My wife and I are both Artists (she's has a MFA and I'm Graphic Artist) and we are always trying to get a jump start on teaching our lil' girl about color. That's only part of what makes this book so awesome though... the other being that it's about geckos. She's really digging geckos (probably since I like them) right now... I took her to see Rango and even though he's a chameleon, she was letting everyone around us know that he's a gecko.
Anyways... back to the book. I recommend it to anyone with a toddler. It's a great bedtime read... that has everything from science to art all in a nice rhyme.
